Overview:

Global Financial Services Leader, with a new CIO at the helm are about to embark on their biggest technology & digital transformation yet!

With years of technical debt, the plan is to rearchitect the entire estate - Greenfield and truly exciting!!!

Working closely with the CTO, you will drive technological innovation, strategic alignment, and operational excellence within the organisation and be responsible for driving the strategy and adoption of technology to enable business growth.

Leading the technical direction, the successful candidate will have the freedom and autonomy to approach the crafting and development of a world class platform and the empowerment and enablement of teams in just about any way you see fit. It’s a truly brilliant opportunity for a highly experienced technologist with a strong track record in Microservices, Data, Cloud, API, Event Driven architectures and more.


PERSON REQUIREMENTS

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Architect, with a track of record of building scalable Technology solutions within a Financial Services environment (on a global scale) and transforming archaic platforms into new modern architectures.

In summary you will offer (but won’t be limited to):

  • Strong understanding of Financial Services | insurance industries, including products, services, regulatory requirements, and market trends.
  • In-depth knowledge of enterprise architecture principles, frameworks, and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in designing and implementing complex, distributed systems leveraging modern technologies and modular architecture practices.
  • Diverse knowledge in Data, Digital, Cloud and API architectures.
  • Ability to think strategically and translate business goals into actionable architectural plans and solutions.
  • Experience developing and executing long-term architectural roadmaps aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes, analyse complex issues, and develop pragmatic solutions.
