Lead Pricing Analyst (Pricing Manager) | West London | Up to £75k + bonus Turn data into insight. Insight into action. And action into commercial growth. We're partnering with a leading consumer marketplace undergoing an exciting transformation in how it approaches pricing, commercial performance and data-driven decision-making. With significant investment in advanced pricing technology, automation and data science, the business is building a smarter, more scientific approach to pricing across multiple consumer brands and European markets. We're looking for a Lead Pricing Analyst to play a key role in this transformation, combining strong analytical thinking, commercial curiosity and a genuine passion for using data to influence business performance. This isn't a traditional pricing role, nor is it a people management position. It's an opportunity for an ambitious, hands-on commercial analyst to take ownership of pricing optimisation, challenge existing thinking and directly influence commercial outcomes within a major consumer-facing business. The Opportunity Working within a high-performing commercial pricing function, you'll leverage a new, highly sophisticated pricing platform to identify opportunities, develop hypotheses and drive improvements across pricing, demand, conversion and revenue. You'll work at the intersection of commercial strategy, analytics, technology and customer behaviour, using data to understand what's happening, why it's happening and, most importantly, what the business should do next. Key responsibilities will include: Pricing Optimisation: Analyse pricing performance, customer demand, market dynamics and competitor activity to identify opportunities for commercial improvement. Commercial Insights: Translate complex datasets into clear, actionable recommendations that influence pricing strategy and business decisions. Hypothesis & Experimentation: Develop, test and validate commercial hypotheses, using experimentation to understand what drives customer behaviour and performance. Data-Driven Decision Making: Identify trends, risks and opportunities across traffic, conversion, pricing and revenue. Technology & AI: Leverage advanced pricing platforms, automation, data science and AI-enabled tools to enhance analysis and decision-making. Cross-Brand Optimisation: Identify opportunities to share insights, learnings and pricing strategies across multiple consumer brands and markets. Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with commercial, product, data science and technology teams to turn insights into measurable outcomes. Continuous Improvement: Challenge existing approaches, explore new ideas and help shape the future of a more automated, intelligent pricing function. What We're Looking For We're particularly interested in commercially minded analysts who enjoy getting into the numbers but can also step back and see the bigger picture. You might currently be a Senior Pricing Analyst, Commercial Analyst, Revenue Analyst, Trading Analyst or Marketing Analyst looking for greater ownership and influence. Ideally, you'll bring: Strong analytical skills and experience working with large, complex datasets. Experience in a commercially focused B2C environment such as eCommerce, marketplaces, retail, leisure or digital consumer businesses. A proven ability to translate data into meaningful commercial insights and recommendations. Experience analysing pricing, revenue, conversion, customer behaviour or commercial performance. A logical, structured approach to problem-solving, with the ability to develop and test hypotheses. A curious, experimental mindset and a willingness to challenge assumptions. Confidence engaging stakeholders and influencing decisions through data and insight. An interest in emerging technologies, AI, automation and advanced analytics. The ability to work at pace, prioritise opportunities and deliver results. Previous experience in a dedicated pricing role would be advantageous, but we're equally interested in exceptional commercial analysts who have the potential to develop into pricing specialists. Next steps | application We're not looking for someone who simply produces dashboards, reports and endless analysis. We're looking for someone who can connect the dots. Someone who can interrogate the data, understand the customer, spot opportunities, challenge assumptions and turn insight into action. If you're an ambitious analyst who wants to move beyond reporting and make a genuine commercial impact, we'd love to hear from you.
