We're on the hunt for a top-tier Full Stack Engineer to join the exhilarating journey of a cutting-edge digital tech company's fresh and agile start-up branch! Your mastery in software delivery is key as they embark on the thrilling mission to create a ground-breaking finance platform from scratch.
Workplace Policy | Location: Remote 1st with monthly visits to Manchester office
Starting salary: £50k - £65k (DOE) + perks
Playing a key role in this greenfield project amongst other things, you’ll need to be a highly experienced full-stacker that can adeptly smooth out processes and ensure sourcing and commercials are up to scratch and operating as intended.

Key tasks you’ll be involved in:
- Establish yourself as a skilled full-stack engineer and design, code, verify, test, document, amend, and refactor complex programs/scripts.
- Ensure engineering standards are being met and aligned with business goals
- Conduct peer reviews and provide constructive feedback
- Oversee the design and delivery of software applications
- Ensure tools you use for deployment activities are correct
- Help resolve issues and escalate to the relevant department when necessary
- Collects performance statistics using application management software.
Full Stack Engineer – Core skills needed:
- JavaScript/Typescript
- Experience with Node serverless (AWS Lambdas or containerization managed through ECS or similar platforms)
- AWS serverless frameworks
- Advocate for API-first approaches to software development
- Demonstrable skills in unit and integration testing (jest etc)
- Understanding of continuous integration practices including source control with Git, building processes including Azure DevOps, Gitlab, testing, auditing, and deployment (e.g. SonarQube).
- Exposure to agile development methodologies
- Background in terraform and Kafka
