As part of this journey, we’re currently looking for a Technology Architect to play a pivotal role in this next chapter, helping design and deliver the technical foundations that will power growth, innovation, and exceptional customer experiences for years to come.

Role overview

Joining the team as the Technical Architect, you’ll be instrumental in defining the core technical foundations that will allow the company to scale, grow, and deliver exceptional digital experiences. Working closely with key stakeholders across the group and technology leaders, you’ll shape the architecture behind our website, mobile app, and partner integrations, driving both revenue growth and customer satisfaction.

Day-to-day:

• In the first 6 months:
• Lead the rebuild and reset of our digital architecture – setting solid foundations to scale.
• Design and document architecture that brings together website, app, CMS, and partner systems into a coherent ecosystem.
• Partner with development teams to ensure architecture is executable, secure, and future-ready.
• Bring order to complexity — simplifying legacy systems and preparing for modernisation.

• Beyond that:
• Drive and own the architecture for key strategic projects across 2026, from CMS implementation (Sitecore) and revenue management systems, to UX experimentation, API integrations, and payment solutions (e.g. Apple Pay).
• Design technical solutions for external partner integrations, mobile app evolution, and modern engineering environments.
• Champion best practices in security, scalability, and performance, ensuring our architecture enables business growth.

The ideal candidate:

• Strong experience as a Technology Architect, Solution Architect, or Lead Engineer in complex digital environments.
• Deep understanding of API-led architecture, integration patterns, and cloud-native systems.
• Experience modernising legacy platforms into modern, modular, scalable architectures.
• Exposure to CMS (ideally Sitecore), web and app ecosystems, and digital commerce.
• A pragmatic, delivery-focused approach, comfortable balancing strategic vision with hands-on problem solving.
• A natural collaborator, able to work with technical and commercial teams to translate ideas into solutions that deliver real business impact.
