We’re looking for a Lead Salesforce Developer to take ownership of this vital platform and drive how it evolves, scales, and empowers our people.
Role overview
Salesforce is core to how the group operates - it connects our teams, customers, and data in one unified experience.
As the Lead Salesforce Developer, you’ll lead the development, integration, and optimisation of Salesforce across the business, ensuring it’s robust, scalable, and fit for a rapidly growing, customer-first organisation.
You’ll work across multiple Salesforce Clouds, from Service Cloud and Marketing Cloud to Commerce Cloud and Pardot, helping us unlock value and efficiency across every function.
Day-to-day
- Take technical ownership of Salesforce development across the organisation.
- Design, build, and maintain Salesforce solutions that support business-critical functions.
- Work with stakeholders across contact centres, holiday home sales, finance, and marketing to translate business needs into scalable Salesforce capabilities.
- Lead integrations between Salesforce and other systems, ensuring smooth data flow, reliability, and performance.
- Champion best practices in Salesforce architecture, development standards, and data governance.
- Mentor and guide developers, ensuring quality, consistency, and technical excellence across projects.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
The ideal candidate:
Proven experience as a Lead Salesforce Developer or Senior Salesforce Engineer in a complex, multi-cloud environment.
Hands-on expertise in:
- Salesforce Service Cloud
- Marketing Cloud
- Commerce Cloud
- Pardot (Marketing Automation) – nice to have but highly beneficial.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce integrations, APIs, and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
- Experience leading development efforts, defining standards, and ensuring delivery quality.
- Excellent stakeholder management — able to communicate technical ideas in a clear, business-friendly way.
- A mindset for continuous improvement, scalability, and user experience.
