NOW HIRING: Mid-Level Full Stack Engineer (x2) | £50,000 to £55,000 | Manchester | 4 days onsite / 1 remote
“Fast-moving. Product-led. Zero appetite for slow decision-making or heavy process”
We are exclusively supporting a high-growth consumer technology company building a mobile-first platform that real users rely on every day. It ships constantly, iterates fast and rewards engineers who like momentum over comfort.
Ownership is real here. Engineers work close to the problem, take features end-to-end and see their work land in production quickly. Feedback loops are short. Experimentation is encouraged. Decisions happen without layers of approval.
The technical challenge is keeping quality high while the platform scales and evolves at speed.
They are now hiring two Mid-Level Full Stack Engineers into a lean team where impact is visible and progression comes through responsibility, not hierarchy.
If you want autonomy, pace and a genuine chance to level up your engineering game, this is that environment.
What you will be doing:
- Building modern frontend experiences using React, Next.js and React Native
- Developing backend services and APIs (current stack includes PHP / Laravel, but strong backend engineers from other stacks are welcome)
- Working in a cloud-native environment on AWS
- Shipping features rapidly in close collaboration with product and design
- Using AI tooling heavily to improve development speed and problem solving
- Contributing to technical decisions, tooling and architecture
- Working directly with senior engineers and the CTO
This is a proper full stack role. You will not be siloed into one layer of the stack.
What they are looking for:
- Commercial experience as a Full Stack Engineer
- Strong JavaScript experience, ideally with React
- Backend experience in any modern language or framework
- Comfort working with cloud platforms and modern deployment workflows
- A product mindset. You care about usability, performance and customer impact
- Curiosity around AI tooling and how it can improve your workflow
They are especially interested in people who:
- Build things outside of work or actively experiment
- Enjoy learning new tools and patterns
- Like ownership and responsibility
- Want to be part of a small, ambitious engineering team
What’s next?
We are handling this hire exclusively and working closely with the leadership team behind it.
That means real insight, proper preparation and no CV disappearing into a black hole.
If you are ready to step into a high-growth product environment where you can build, learn and progress quickly, apply and we will take you through the details.
