Here at MRJ, we’re partnering with a fast-growing tech company at a pivotal stage: fresh investment secured, a renowned CTO onboard, strong commercial traction, and an impressive client portfolio already in place.
The "AIRBNB for the hospitality industry", the platform is already trusted by top brands including Google, Deloitte, Debenhams, and MTV, and its user base continues to grow daily. The founders have decided to bring their technology team in-house, with these first two Senior React Developer hires playing a key role in their plans.
Your role:
- Work with the CTO to help shape the product, tech choices, and engineering culture.
- Lead the design and development of our core SaaS platform and new product features.
- Drive architecture and technical decisions, ensuring our systems are scalable, performant, and secure.
- Be deeply hands-on writing high-quality, maintainable React code and setting the standard for frontend engineering excellence.
- Solve complex technical challenges around scale, data, and integrations.
- Work closely with product and design to deliver impactful solutions quickly and iteratively.
- Introduce new tools, technologies, and practices to keep our frontend stack modern and efficient.
What we’re looking for:
We’re looking for an experienced Senior React Developer with experience in SaaS or high-growth tech environments. You don’t need to be a specialist in every tool we use, great engineers can learn. What matters most is a strong foundation in modern engineering best practices, such as automated testing, TDD, continuous delivery, and building scalable software.
The tech stack:
- Frontend: React.js (including Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind)
- Backend: RESTful APIs
- Database: Microsoft SQL Server and MongoDB
- Infrastructure: AWS (ECS with Fargate), provisioned using Terraform
- CI/CD: GitHub Actions
