Senior Cybersecurity Engineer (Zero Trust)

In an era of high-profile breaches, this company is moving past legacy "perimeter" security. We are exclusively partnering with a Boston-based HealthTech leader that is doubling down on a "Zero Trust" architecture to protect sensitive patient data at scale.

This is a hands-on engineering role. You’ll be building the tools and systems that keep the platform secure while allowing the engineering teams to maintain their velocity. If you prefer impact over "compliance theatre" and like being in the room where architectural decisions happen, this one’s for you.

What you will be doing

• Implementing and managing Zero Trust networking and advanced IAM policies.
• Automating threat detection and incident response workflows.
• Collaborating with developers to bake security directly into the CI/CD pipeline.
• Performing architectural reviews to ensure security is "by design," not bolted on.
• Leading "Red Team" exercises and vulnerability assessments for the core platform.

What they are looking for

• Proven experience in Cloud Security (AWS/Azure) and Container Security.
• Hands-on experience with IAM, OAuth2, and OIDC protocols.
• The ability to write code (Python or Go) to automate security tasks.
• A pragmatic approach, you find ways to say "Yes, and here is how we do it safely."
• Strong communication skills and the ability to influence engineering teams.
