Contract Project Manager (Cyber)

£400 to £425 per day | Inside IR35 | Contract | Immediate start | Fully remote/ Yorkshire (UK based applicants only please) 

We are exclusively supporting a well-known, consumer-facing brand with real scale, investing heavily in its technology estate as part of a wider modernisation programme.

This is a business where tech genuinely matters. High traffic platforms. Real users. Real operational impact. The kind of environment where delivery actually moves the needle.

This is not a paperwork PM role.

They need someone embedded with the teams. Close to the engineers. Driving delivery. Removing blockers. Making things happen.

There is a strong cyber and security focus across parts of the programme, but first and foremost this is about shipping solid engineering change at pace.

If you prefer impact over process theatre and like being in the room where decisions happen, not just reporting on them, this one’s for you.

What you will be doing

• Owning end-to-end delivery of technology and engineering projects
• Working day-to-day with developers, product and technical stakeholders
• Driving plans, priorities and timelines to keep delivery moving
• Managing risks, dependencies and cross-team coordination
• Removing blockers and bringing clarity to complex change
• Supporting secure, well-governed releases into live environments

What they are looking for:

• Proven experience delivering tech or engineering projects
• Comfortable speaking the language of developers and technical teams
• Strong stakeholder management without slowing teams down
• Structured, proactive and calm under pressure
• Able to take ownership quickly in a fast-moving environment
• Cyber or security project exposure is helpful, not essential.

This suits someone who likes being close to the work, not just reporting on it.
