We've partnered with an Austin-based SaaS platform that is scaling its AI capabilities to serve over 10 million users. They are moving away from "Ops as a service" to a true Platform Engineering model. They need a specialist to build the internal developer platform (IDP) that allows their AI and ML teams to ship code autonomously.

This isn't a "ticket-taking" role. They need someone embedded with the teams—removing blockers, driving automation, and ensuring the infrastructure is as invisible as possible for the developers.

What you will be doing

• Designing and implementing self-service CI/CD pipelines for ML workloads.
• Owning the evolution of a massive Kubernetes-based infrastructure on GCP.
• Driving "Infrastructure as Code" (Terraform/Pulumi) across all engineering pods.
• Proactively identifying bottlenecks in the developer experience and fixing them.
• Supporting secure, well-governed releases into live, high-traffic environments.

What they are looking for

• Mastery of Kubernetes (GKE) and the Cloud Native ecosystem.
• Strong background in MLOps tooling (MLflow, Kubeflow, or similar).
• Expert knowledge of Terraform and automated configuration management.
• A "security-first" mindset that doesn't slow down the development cycle.
• Experience in a high-traffic, 24/7 production environment.
