Machine Learning Engineer

$200k to $260k + equity | Remote (North America)

We are working with a growing data and AI platform focused on one thing: helping teams act on their data, not just analyse it.

They are now investing in machine learning to power real-time decisioning across personalisation, experimentation and optimisation.

This is not an academic or research-heavy environment. It is production ML with clear ownership and visible impact.

A good fit for engineers who like solving real problems and shipping regularly.

What you will be doing:

This role sits at the point where data science meets real-world impact.

You will be solving questions like:

  • Which customers should we engage, and when?
  • What content or offers are most likely to convert?
  • How do we automatically test thousands of variations without manual setup?
  • Where is spend actually driving incremental results vs wasted budget?
  • How can AI generate and adapt messaging in real time?

You will design, ship and iterate on the systems that answer those questions, turning models into live decision engines that sit directly in customer-facing workflows.

Expect fast feedback loops, measurable outcomes and real ownership, not long research cycles.

Skills needed:

To thrive here, you will likely bring:

  • Experience deploying machine learning models into production environments
  • Strong foundations in statistics, experimentation and optimisation
  • Confidence working with large datasets and modern cloud/data infrastructure
  • Python and common ML tooling/frameworks
  • The ability to move from ambiguous problems to working solutions independently
  • Comfort collaborating closely with product and engineering teams

Backgrounds in recommender systems, growth/marketing optimisation, experimentation platforms or applied LLM use cases are a bonus, not a requirement.

Most importantly, you care about impact and shipping, not just training models.

Next steps:

We are supporting this hire directly and working closely with the leadership team.

You will get clear insight into the roadmap, technical challenges and expectations before interviews, along with honest prep and guidance throughout the process.

If you are looking for a high-impact ML role where your work goes straight into production and drives real business results, apply and we will walk you through the details.
