We are supporting a mission-driven scale-up that is using satellite imagery and AI to revolutionize how we combat global deforestation. This is a "Tech-for-Good" unicorn that genuinely cares about impact. They are scaling their US engineering hub and need a Lead Developer who can bridge the gap between complex data visualizations and a seamless user experience.

This suits someone who likes being close to the work, not just reporting on it. You’ll be leading a pod of 5 engineers, ensuring high-velocity delivery while maintaining a clean, scalable codebase.

What you will be doing

• Owning the end-to-end delivery of the core customer platform.
• Working day-to-day with developers, product owners, and GIS specialists.
• Driving frontend excellence using React and TypeScript.
• Architecting scalable backend services (Go/Node) that process massive geospatial datasets.
• Managing risks, dependencies, and cross-team coordination.
