At MRJ Recruitment, we’re excited to support a forward-thinking InsurTech business that’s rapidly expanding its technology capabilities and building a small, high-impact team in Alderley Edge.
They’re looking for a Junior API Developer to play a key role in shaping their growth and digital platform. This is perfect for someone with a year+ experience in development or integration who wants to step into a solution-driven environment, where you’ll be encouraged to think beyond code, designing smart, scalable integrations that make a real difference.
Location: Alderley Edge, Cheshire (2–3 days in the office)
Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 + perks (DOE
What You’ll Do:
- Design, build, and maintain APIs connecting core business systems.
- Work with stakeholders to translate requirements into practical solutions.
- Support automation and workflow improvements.
- Troubleshoot integration issues and document solutions.
What You’ll Bring:
- A year + experience in an API or integration-focused role.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, authentication, JSON/XML.
- Hands-on experience in Python, JavaScript, or C#.
- Logical thinker who enjoys problem-solving and working independently.
- Based in the UK without visa/sponsorship requirements
Bonus points for:
- Exposure to AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Familiarity with Git, low-code/automation tools, or financial systems.
