AI Platform Engineers: Stop building on slow, clunky systems.
If you’re tired of wrestling with infrastructure instead of shipping AI, this could be the role that changes everything. We’re partnering with a high-growth tech company that’s building an internal AI Platform designed to let developers launch, observe, and scale AI applications—without the usual headaches.
You won’t be “just another engineer.” You’ll join a small, high-impact team shaping the platform behind LLMs, RAG applications, and internal AI tools. Your work will influence how the organisation uses AI at scale, giving you ownership few roles can match.
Your Mission
- Build the core platform services that developers actually use.
- Deploy and maintain runtime environments, LLM proxies, and AI infrastructure.
- Implement CI/CD, observability, and automation pipelines that just work.
- Shape security, GDPR compliance, and incident response for AI systems.
- Support AI apps from internal assistants to advanced document-processing tools.
Who You Are
- Fluent in cloud-native infrastructure, ideally Azure, and Kubernetes.
- Skilled in Terraform/IaC and CI/CD tooling (ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, Helm).
- Comfortable with Python or Go, writing automation scripts that just work.
- Curious, pragmatic, and excited to learn LLM operations and AI infrastructure patterns.
- Collaborative and ready to push for the best solution, not the easiest.
Why This Isn’t a Typical Role
- Small team, big impact: your decisions shape platform strategy.
- Work on bleeding-edge AI tools, not legacy systems that never ship.
- End-to-end ownership: from architecture to deployment, your work matters.
- Collaborate with people who actually value platform engineering.

- Salary banding from £60k - £65k (DOE)
