Role: Senior IT Service Delivery Manager

Location: Leeds | Hybrid: 1–2 days per week in the office

We’re delighted to be partnering with a highly ambitious Health sector organisation currently embarking on a major digital transformation journey.

A sleeping giant in technology terms, the board has signed off on a £multi-million, 3-year digital and technology programme — making this the perfect time to join and play a pivotal role in shaping their future.

About the role

As Senior IT Service Delivery Manager, you’ll steer the transition from a traditional on-premise IT environment to a modern, cloud-first, digital-first approach.

Leading a team of 20 + Infrastructure Engineers and Application Support Engineers — plus managing the Infrastructure Lead and Business Systems Leads — you’ll ensure around 2,000 users across the UK & Europe (both remote and office-based) receive outstanding support and services.

You’ll build strong partnerships with business leaders, using data and insights to drive innovation, operational excellence and service improvements — while maintaining compliance with key regulations like PCI and GDPR.

Crucially, you’ll have experience transforming legacy, on-premise infrastructure into agile, cloud-based solutions, ideally working alongside DevOps teams to modernise services and prepare for future outsourcing where appropriate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead IT service delivery across infrastructure, business systems and cloud environments — shaping the roadmap to move away from legacy, on-premise systems.
  • Manage Infrastructure and Business Systems Leads, ensuring seamless delivery of services and systems like the Patient Administration System (PAS).
  • Introduce and embed cloud-first solutions (ideally Azure) and champion modern platforms and tools to drive digital transformation.
  • Set the strategy for provisioning and lifecycle management of end-user equipment and software.
  • Own and maintain the CMDB for all end-user assets to enable effective budget planning and lifecycle management.
  • Act as a senior point of escalation for complex technical issues — using insights to define priorities, corrective actions, and responses.
  • Oversee service performance against KPIs, SLAs and OLAs, with clear measures for internal customer satisfaction.
  • Support external audits and maintain strong governance across IT operations and business systems.
  • Manage key vendor relationships — overseeing performance and leading commercial negotiations.

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven experience leading IT operations through large-scale digital transformation — taking organisations from on-premise to cloud-first.
  • A strong technical background covering Azure, MS365, Windows OS, Autopilot, MAC OS, AD/Entra and AAD provisioning.
  • Experience managing and modernising hybrid estates — including MACs, Windows, Linux, and Intune-managed devices.
  • Familiarity with Enterprise MDM, EPP, EDR, patch management and tools from Microsoft, JAMF, CrowdStrike, ManageEngine and Esentire.
  • A good understanding of endpoint security: SSO/MFA, vulnerability management, email security, scanning and pen testing.
  • Experience managing or closely collaborating with DevOps teams.
  • Familiarity with Enterprise service delivery platforms like ServiceNow, FreshService or similar.
  • Exposure to Patient Administration Systems or similar business-critical systems.
  • Experience with Digital Experience tools such as 1E, Nexthink or Riverbed Aternity would be an advantage.
