With skyrocketing demand and big plans on the roadmap, they’re investing heavily in the next-gen rebuild of one of their most critical platforms - their Payroll solution. To make it happen, they need a Engineering Lead ready to take the wheel. Are you ready for your next challenge?

What You’ll Own & Drive
- Lead end-to-end delivery of next-gen payroll solutions from roadmap to runtime.
- Guide a high-performing team using TDD, Pairing, Peer Reviews, and Static Analysis.
- Build predictable, scalable delivery with real metrics, not gut feel.
- Strip away complexity: remove dependencies, unblock teams, accelerate flow.
- Level up your team, coach, mentor, grow their skills and careers.
- Collaborate with Product, QA & BA to ship features that actually solve problems.
- Keep eyes on the horizon: scout emerging tech, tools, and practices.
What you'll bring
- Proven leadership of engineering teams in fast-paced environments.
- Hands-on technical expertise, you can still jump in and ship when needed.
- Strong knowledge of C#, Azure (Functions, Framework), SQL Server, and modern front-end frameworks (React or similar).
- Clear, confident communication, technical or not, you get the message across.
- Sharp eye for delivery metrics, clean architecture, and long-term maintainability.
- Passion for building team culture, tech excellence, and momentum.
