We're supporting a fast-growing digital business that's investing heavily in its engineering capability and is looking for an experienced Senior Node.js Engineer to join a high-performing product team.

  • Working closely with Product, Engineering and Platform teams
  • Contributing to architecture and technical decision-making
  • Writing high-quality, well-tested code
  • Mentoring engineers and driving engineering best practice

We're looking for:

  • 10+ years' commercial software engineering experience
  • Strong expertise with Node.js and TypeScript
  • Experience building distributed, cloud-native applications
  • A polyglot mindset with exposure to other languages (Java, Go, Python, C#, Kotlin or similar)
  • Strong understanding of APIs, microservices and event-driven architectures
  • Experience working within modern Agile product teams
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach

If you're an experienced contractor who enjoys solving complex engineering challenges and wants to work alongside some exceptional engineers, I'd love to hear from you.
