Our client, a leading MCR innovator, is seeking a skilled Data Engineer with expertise in GCP, SQL and Python. You'll join a team leveraging the latest advancements in Machine Learning and Google Cloud Platform to build game-changing tech that will help direct the future trajectory of both the brand and their customers
Salary: £40k-£50k + fantastic package (Share options, buy holiday scheme, Private medical, Learning budget and much more)

It should go without saying, but a technical mindset and passion for the data engineering space an absolute must, with the ideal applicant being adept at delivering and optimising data pipelines.
Some of the key things you’ll be doing include:
- Build reliable data pipelines to move data from internal systems
- Up to 2 years relevant commercial experience in a similar Data Engineer role
- Keep the data pipelines running smoothly and ensure the data is accurate, complete, and accessible.
- Make the pipelines work faster and cheaper by improving their efficiency.
- Understand what data is needed and document it clearly.
- Lead data projects from start to finish, working with other teams as needed.
- Find ways to automate tasks and make the process even better.
What skills do you need to succeed?
- Educated to degree level in a computer science or related field
- Strong skills in SQL, Python, and tools for building and managing software (Docker, Terraform)
- Background in cloud data storage, data organisation, and moving data (ETL/ELT), ideally using Google Cloud Platform
- Knowledge of data security and privacy regulations
- Proven ability to improve data processing speed and accuracy
- Experience automating deployments
- Comfortable creating clean code
Bonus skills:
- Exposure to BigQuery, Composer, Cloud Functions along with experience in data visualisation and BI tools.
