We are looking for a motivated & collaborative QA Engineer with a love for manual testing and a firm grasp on modern QA principles to join one of the biggest b2b acquisition and engagement brands in the UK today.

Salary: Up to £40k Location | Workplace policy: 1 day a month in Manchester (must be based in the UK without sponsorship requirements)

Working closely with product, development, BI, commercial, and other teams to deliver exceptional digital experiences it’s a fantastic opportunity to leverage your QA expertise to drive process improvement and ensure the highest quality standards.


QA Engineer – Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute tests for website and app implementations.
  • Provide accurate estimates for QA tasks.
  • Collaborate with developers and BAs to understand requirements and test cases.
  • Document test results and analyse anomalies.
  • Ensure the quality and stability of production deployments.
  • Create and maintain regression test documentation.
  • Comply with company policies and standards in line with ISO 27001:2022, BS 10012:2017, ISO 50001:2018, ISO 22301:2019.


QA engineer – key skills needed:

  • Natural curiosity and desire to succeed and strive for positive results
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Knowledge and/or expertise in agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban
  • Full understanding of the development lifecycle
  • Proven experience in functional/UAT testing or previous experience operating in an online retail environment
  • Experience with writing use cases, specifications, workflows, test cases, and documentation
  • Logical thinking and problem-solving ability
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Highly self-motivated with the ability to organize and prioritize tasks
  • Ability to interrogate APIs (e.g., via Postman)
  • Strong communication skills
  • ISQTB Foundation Certified
