Product Designer

Location: Hybrid in Manchester City Centre (must be based in the UK without visa/sponsorship requirements)

Already recognised by publications as a business to watch, they’re steadily expanding across cities with plans to double by year end. As a Product Designer, you’ll be the first hire of this kind for the business and, as such, be responsible for enhancing the user experience and interface of our core products, ensuring they meet the needs of customers on both mobile and web.

You’ll also:

• Collaborate closely with engineers to streamline development.
• Constantly test and refine designs with a focus on quick experimentation.
• Assist in occasional graphic design tasks for marketing and sales materials.

• User-Centric Focus: Proven ability to empathise with users and translate their needs into innovative design solutions.
• Design Proficiency: Expertise in modern design tools like Figma, as well as prototyping tools, to bring your ideas to life.
• Adaptability: Thrives in a fast-paced environment and can navigate ambiguity with confidence and initiative.
• Research-Driven: Experience conducting and analysing user research to inform design decisions.
• Commercial Acumen: A solid understanding of design within a commercial context.
