We’re looking for an experienced and analytical Digital Accessibility Lead to join our client’s capable team and oversee the integration of the brand’s accessibility features, ensuring they are user-friendly and inclusive through testing support and other means.

Key tasks include:


  • Create and manage a product roadmap for accessibility.
  • Prioritise accessibility features based on user needs and trends.
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure accessibility is integrated into products.
  • Ensure accessibility features work across different platforms.
  • Partner with external vendors for accessibility tools.
  • Stay up-to-date on accessibility technologies.
  • Establish and maintain IT accessibility standards.
  • Document accessibility processes and procedures.
  • Continuously improve accessibility processes.
  • Integrate accessibility processes with other IT functions.
  • Ensure accessibility testing meets high standards.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive testing plans.
  • Coordinate with quality assurance teams to resolve issues.
  • Manage technical support for accessibility features.
  • Resolve accessibility-related issues promptly.
  • Create support documentation and resources.
  • Assist in creating accessibility training programs.
  • Educate IT teams on accessibility importance.
  • Develop training materials.
  • Serve as the main contact for user accessibility communications.
  • Gather and use user feedback for improvements.
  • Communicate accessibility initiatives to users.


Requirements:

  • Proven track record in implementing and managing accessible technology solutions.
  • Deep understanding of accessibility standards and regulations, such as WCAG and ADA.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and external stakeholders.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex technical information clearly.
  • Expertise in accessibility testing tools and methodologies.
  • Passionate about creating inclusive digital experiences.
  • Solid foundation in IT Service Management principles and practical experience with assistive technologies.
  • Preferred: Certification in accessibility (e.g., CPACC, WAS, CPWA).
  • Preferred: Familiarity with front-end development and design principles.
  • Essential: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
