We're working closely with a rapidly growing InsureTech startup, revolutionising the B2B insurance comparison landscape with an innovative, cloud-based platform. Having secured significant funding, they’re assembling a top-tier tech team to headline the creation of an inhouse, secure platform.
Salary: £55k-£65k | Location | Workplace policy: Hybrid with 2 days in central Manchester office
Key to this plan will be a Business Analyst position we’re helping recruit for that will assist in driving the development of the brand’s internal systems.
situated in a great collaborative environment with 4 x Development squads, you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to gather, analyse, and document business requirements, ensuring that systems align with strategic objectives and meet the evolving needs of the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse, and document detailed business requirements from stakeholders
- Model and document current and proposed business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and optimisation.
- Collaborate with development teams to design and implement effective system solutions that meet business requirements and align with technical constraints.
- Develop test cases, coordinate testing activities, and ensure that systems meet quality standards and deliver the desired outcomes.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, effectively communicating progress, addressing concerns, and managing expectations.
- FCA Regulatory Compliance: Demonstrate a solid understanding of FCA regulations and ensure that systems comply with relevant requirements (not essential but a plus).
Business Analyst – Core skills needed:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in a technology-driven environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative and cross-functional team environment.
- Experience in building systems from the ground up (greenfield projects).
- Deep understanding of internal systems and their business implications.
