Role:

Working on the company's core product, joining as a Senior Developer you'll have a big part to play as the company looks to modernise its platform and continue ahead with its growth plans.

Day-to-day you will:

* Lead pairs, mentor junior developers and work with the Tech Leads and Head of Engineering on the design, architecture and build of a brand-new functionality within the platform.
* Promote coding standards and champion best practices, including TDD, BDD, CI/CD
* Work closely with stakeholders across the business to get a real understanding of what our customers want.
* Be an active member of the engineering and wider tech community within the business.

Person:

With extensive technical skills, you will be a strong advocate for great engineering practises and are pragmatic when balancing best practise against delivery. You want to deliver value quickly and fail fast. Learning new skills comes naturally. Details matter. You will be excited by building something from scratch.

Technical skills needed:

* PHP 7 with Laravel
* AWS or GCP (preferred)
* APIs
* Javascript
* SQL databases
* Experience with TDD, unit testing and an understanding of BDD
