Lead UI/UX Designer

Location | Workplace policy: Hybrid working with one day a week in Oxford tech hub
Salary: Competitive salary from £56K - £70k

We’re looking for a skilled and experienced UX/UI expert with a passion for gaming to line-manage a host of UI artists as they embark on an exciting journey to develop a new IP. from the ground up.

While a games development background would be highly advantageous, our client has noted that candidates from game-related backgrounds (gambling etc.) will also be considered. An ideal candidate for this role is a born leader who understands the significance of collaboration and data/user analysis in creating an incredible product.

What will you be doing?

• Overseeing a team of UI team and ensure they are working sufficiently on their projects
• Develop a UX strategy and ensure the UX vision aligns with the design teams
• Create and iterate on player experiences through visual scripting toolsets so that customers are given highly performant services
• Mentor your team and ensure they are supported and catered to

Lead UI/UX Designer - Requirements:

• Relevant commercial experience designing UX/UI
• Personal passion for gaming that stretches beyond the norm
• Comfortable managing a team across the entirety of a project
• Detailed portfolio that showcases high-fidelity UI works using modern tech (Adobe XD, Illustrator, Sketch, Figma)
• Comfortable communicating with multiple stakeholders with a full view of projects
