Technical Project Manager

Location/Workplace Policy: Hybrid working from Kent

A multi-award-winning and consistently positioned leader across the leisure sector in Europe, our client is a dynamic and ever-evolving market leader in the UK that, since its founding over 30 years ago, has continued to provide its extensive client base with high-quality products.

Driven by a dramatic increase in business that has positioned them firmly as a UK market leader, they’re now moving full steam ahead with an ambitious expansion plan and need a proven Technical Project Manager to join the team and help manage innovations on their bespoke owner portal and supply platform.

A key leadership role that will see you positioned squarely in the management team, the ideal candidate will need to be highly user-centric with a love for working within a supportive workspace and a passion for delivering first-class digital experiences for your customers.

In addition, you will also:

• Regularly collaborate with Data Analysts, UX/UI Designers, Developers, and QA on the creation and delivery of first-class digital experiences
• Through data gathered, weight and prioritise the UX and testing roadmap
• Regularly develop and implement best in class design and UX processes in collaboration with UX and front-end designers
• Enable user testing to deliver optimised experiences for customers
• Establish yourself as an integral member of the management team and contribute to product visions
• Take full responsibility for supply and owner platforms
• Translate business cases into roadmaps, ensuring constantly that you make ideas a reality
• Lead, mentor and guide cross-functional development team to success
• Effectively communicate product requirements
• Review working practices and find ways to optimise workflows

Candidate requirements:

• Up to 5+ years’ experience in a similar project management role
• Background leading a team of Developers, QAs and DevOps teams
• Highly organised with a natural ability to remain calm under pressure
• Full understanding of the following: SQL, Java, API’s, data warehouse, power Bi, Snowflake
• of database projects or large-scale digital platform builds would be preferable.
• Prior background mentoring and instructing tech talent
• Proven knowledge in Project Management processes, strategies, and methods.
